Here we see the planet Venus, in transit, travelling between the Sun and our Earth. Note how much bigger the planet is compared to Mercury, which is in this section under: Mercury - Sun Transit. This image was taken on June 5th, 2012 and these transits occur twice within 8 years of each other. Just so you know, the next Venus transit will occur in December 2117 and December 2125. I don't think I will make those as I would have to live to the ripe old age of 158 years! Hahaha...Poor me!
